PIN CODES
Pin codes are used on the MKII panel at the gate to gain access to the complex
without making a telephone call. Pin numbers are 4 digits in length and must be
unique within an individual unit. Each unit is allocated 2 pin slots and do not need to
use either.
EDITING PIN CODES
To edit pin codes, click on the Organisation top menu, you will be presented with
various left tab menu's, which include: Phone numbers, Pin Codes, Remote
Controls, Individual Units, Reports, Resident Messaging, Issues, Vouchers, Add
Units and Add Remote Controls. Click on the Pin Codes left tab menu, the context
menu will now display in grid format all the Pin Codes that have been programmed
To change a pin you can either scroll down to the unit or you can enter the resident
code in the top locate Residential unit box, this will display only the unit that you
located. By clicking on the pin that you wish to edit you will be able to start typing the
new number. Once you have made all the changes that you need click on the save
button.
DELETING PIN CODE
Deleting a Pin Code is as simple as clicking on the relevant number and removing
the pin. Click save.
